My Sheep Hear My Voice
"My sheep hear my voice," is a rebuke that Jesus directed at His fellow Jews who doubted His identity and would not accept His words.
As He rebuked them, He also gave a message of assurance to those who believe in Him: "...I know them, and they follow Me: and I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish - neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand!"

An important lesson for Christians
Many believers, even some who are close to me, are unsure of their salvation. They tend to believe that sinful acts they have committed over the years have so broken their fellowship with God that they no longer have a relationship with Him.
But remember the story of the Prodigal Son, a parable told by Jesus.
Though the erring son wandered in sin, he was always his father's son, and greatly loved and desired.
When he returns, his father embraces him, crying,
Luke 15: 24 "For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found." And they began to be merry.
