Amost 5:15 reminds us that God demands we hate evil and love good. What will that mean for us?
God's Word makes it plain that His judgment does not sleep forever, but that His hand of judgment will come sometime!
Is that time now? Perhaps.
At all times, God wishes for justice and righteousness. When His people ignore evil and fail to promote righteousness, what happens?

*Listen to a recording of Amos 5:15, Hate Evil and Love the Good*
We have seen in the Old Testament that God allowed the destruction of the Temple and the exile of His people by a pagan nation, after multiple warnings by prophets over many years.
Again, after the death and resurrection of the Messiah, the continued rejection of Jesus by the Jewish people led, under Roman occupation, to the destruction of the Third Temple (built by Herod the Great) and the 2,000 year dispersion of the Jews.
The key of Cm is easy to sing in, but harder to play on the piano than Dm.

Today, the Church is not prevailing against evil. In a misguided emphasis on "kindness" and "inclusion," the Church has failed to "love the Good."
Will there be mercy? God's judgment does not wait forever.
Amos five, fifteen, Hate evil!
Hate the evil, and love the good...
And perhaps even now, the Lord God of Heaven's armies
Will have mercy, will have mercy, on us.

Hi, I'm Dana! (Say that like "Anna".) I'm the owner of Music-for-Music-Teachers.com, and this newer site, SingTheBibleStory.com.
Like some of you, I've been playing the piano since early childhood, and have added a few other instruments along the way, plus an interest in arranging and composing music.
I also happen to love the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Christian worldview that portrays The Great War in the heavens, in which we here on earth are destined to be a part.
