The genealogy of Jesus Christ was planned long, long before his appearance as a babe on earth.

Adam means "man." Seth is "appointed." Enosh and Kenan, together, can mean "mortal sorrow."
Do I say this because I know Hebrew? Not at all. Rather, I am quoting the teachings of others.
Here is a closeup of page 1:
Some people spend years searching the Bible for codes, number patterns, etc. I like what one Bible teacher, Chuck Missler, has said about these hidden messages of the Bible:
They don't affect truth or doctrine, but they are like the FINGERPRINTS of God. You know that He has been there!

"The blessed God shall come down... " Shall come down WHERE? Here, to earth. "Teaching: His death shall bring the afflicted comfort."
"What an odd song for my Sunday School to sing..." I can hear many of you saying. Is it really? Children are intrigued by mysteries, and there are many to learn in our scriptures.
People may think you are crazy to believe that God wrote the Bible, that you can take the Bible literally, and that prophecies in the Bible are always fulfilled.
But ask them about their own understanding of life. As Peter wrote:
I Peter 3:15-16: "...and be ready always to give an answer to every one that asks you a reason of the hope that is in you. But do this with gentleness and respect..."
Evolution? Really? And how did it start? And how did matter become life?
This is the great conundrum of materialists.
As Norm Geisler (I think) said, "My critics are good at smelling bad eggs. But they're not very adept at laying good ones!"
Don't be ashamed of believing in a literal Bible.
Adam, Seth, Enosh, Kenan, man appointed mortal sorrow,
Adam, Seth, Enosh, Kenan, man appointed mortal sorrow.
Mahalalel, the blessed God, Jared, shall come down, Enoch, teaching.

Hi, I'm Dana! (Say that like "Anna".) I'm the owner of Music-for-Music-Teachers.com, and this newer site, SingTheBibleStory.com.
Like some of you, I've been playing the piano since early childhood, and have added a few other instruments along the way, plus an interest in arranging and composing music.
I also happen to love the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Christian worldview that portrays The Great War in the heavens, in which we here on earth are destined to be a part.
