All of Us Like Sheep Have Gone Astray
This is a setting of the beautiful but somber words of Isaiah 53:6, which describes the waywardness of the human race - like sheep!
But God's deep love and desire to rescue us from the consequences of our own failures led to Him accepting the freewill offering of His Son, who died in our place.

Sometimes I'll put the Biblical reference into a song; usually I don't. "I-sai-ah, fif-ty-three, six..." may seem like an odd way to end a song. If you'd rather NOT sing those words, do as you will.
However, for myself, I know many little snippets of scripture for which I can't remember the sources! It is helpful to know where a Bible verse comes from.
