The Lord is Not Slow to Fulfill His Promise
"The Lord is not slow..." with these words, the apostle Peter encourages believers who are despairing. They had thought that Jesus would be returning to earth very soon.
God is OUTSIDE of time as we know it. Peter says,
"But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day."
